ROTKOPF Jérémy
About
For over more than ten years, I have advised businesses and executives on legal, tax and customs matters, whether in structuring and securing their operations or defending their interests during tax and customs audits.
I have developed a recognised expertise in the taxation and structuring of business activities in the French overseas territories, particularly in New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
I regularly advise on cross-border transactions involving mainland France, the tax treatment of which requires an in-depth understanding of the rules applicable in each jurisdiction.
My practice focuses primarily on corporate group structuring and reorganisations, including mergers and acquisitions and the optimisation of intra-group flows. I also represent taxpayers and defend their interests during tax and customs audits.
I further advise executives on the structuring, protection and optimisation of their projects, particularly in relation to remuneration and wealth planning.
My approach is guided by a constant requirement: to provide clear, practical and immediately actionable advice within timeframes consistent with my clients’ business constraints.
Fluent in French, English and Spanish, I regularly advise clients on matters involving an international dimension, working in coordination with a network of lawyers established in more than 150 countries.
Alongside my legal practice, I act as a consultant to the IBFD, a leading global authority on international taxation, on matters relating to the taxation of French overseas territories. I also teach tax law at the University of New Caledonia.
I graduated from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and HEC Paris with a degree in Business and Tax Law. I also hold the French professional qualification for admission to the Bar, obtained through the Paris Bar School, and currently practise as a member of the Nouméa Bar.
I practise with independence and conviction, driven by exacting professional standards and an uncompromising commitment to protecting my clients’ interests.
